Planning the Great Tea Party

We call this a Great Tea Party, because we
invited Great Gramma and Great Grampa
to come have a spot of tea.

Teagen said we needed place cards, we made
them with paper, gel pens and added sequins
for the sparkle.

Now we have to decide exactly what to
serve. We looked in the cookbooks for a special
something to cook. Baked lemon pudding sounds
good with butter cookie dough, of course we can
make a favorite, banana pudding, oh what one
will it be. Which one will go best with some
tasty herbal tea.

We got our heads together in the ole tea pot.
Came up with Lemon, hope there's not
anything we forgot.

Lemon Grass, Pineapple Mint Tea

Teagens Baked Lemon Pudding

Tea
We cut fresh lemon grass, and pineapple mint,
slow brewing in the tea pot, filled our house
with the sweet smell of lemon candy.
We strained it added about two tablespoons
of sugar and water to make 1/2 gallon of
tea, we served warm.
Drinking this aromatic tea warm,
helps keep you cool on a hot,
summer day.

Lemon Aide
Fresh lemon juice, water and a little sugar,
served with ice.
